Bryan Hawk’s big Remington Park meet continued Friday night when his homebreds Breakable Code and Mister Omaha won two of the three stakes on the card. Breakable Code ($4.80) dueled and prevailed in the $50,000 Silver Goblin, and Mister Omaha ($4.40) overcame a slow start to win the $50,000 Don McNeill. The third stakes on the card, the $50,000 Slide Show, went to Eireann ($17). The three stakes were all restricted to horses bred in Oklahoma. Hawk last month was the breeder of the winners of four stakes on the Oklahoma Classics Night card at Remington Park, led by half-siblings Inca Empire in the $175,000 Classic and Miss Code West in the $145,000 Distaff. He stands a number of stallions, including Code West, at his WestWin Farms facility in Purcell, Okla. Breakable Code, who is by Code West, was pressured through an opening quarter in 22.12 seconds in the Silver Goblin and continued to lead his peers through a half-mile in 44.89 before winning the 6 1/2-furlong race run on a sloppy, sealed track in 1:16.42. :: Bet with the Best! Harry Hernandez was aboard Breakable Code. The horse earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 86. Mister Omaha closed from last for a five-length win over All in Okie in the McNeill, which was for 2-year-olds at a mile. He ran into fractions of 24.73 for the opening quarter, 48.65 for the half-mile and 1:13.67 for six furlongs before covering the distance in 1:39.41. Luis Quinonez was aboard the son of Omaha Beach for Hawk and Offolter. The horse earned a Beyer of 69. Eireann was a 3 1/4-length winner over Little Iris in the Slide Show, which was for 2-year-old fillies at a mile. She stalked the pace and went on to cover the distance in 1:40.59.
