Jockey Joe Bravo has hired Brian Beach as his agent, Bravo and Beach said on Thursday. Agent Matt Nakatani and Bravo parted ways last week when Nakatani began working on behalf of Umberto Rispoli. This is the first time that Beach will book mounts for Bravo, who relocated from his home state of New Jersey to Southern California in the summer of 2021. Through Thursday, Bravo, 51, was tied for 10th with eight wins at the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting, which began on Dec. 26. :: Get Santa Anita Clocker Reports straight from the morning workouts at the track. Available every race day.  Bravo won the Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Turf Sprint with Big Summer at Santa Anita in January. On Saturday, he rides Closing Remarks in the Grade 2 Buena Vista Stakes and Cabo Spirit in the Grade 1 Frank Kilroe Mile. “We’re sitting on some nice stock this weekend,” Bravo said. Nakatani continues to book rides for Mario Gutierrez. Beach will continue to represent Hall of Famer Victor Espinoza.
