OMAHA, Neb. - Blumin Attitude seized the lead after the opening quarter-mile and made all the pace to take Saturday's $28,800 Who Doctor Who Handicap on the third day of the Festival of Racing at Horsemen's Park in Omaha. Blumin Attitude was the unexpected pacesetter as Heso, the 8-5 favorite in a field of seven, was content to follow the pace then faded through the stretch to finish seventh, beaten nine lengths. Skwhirl checked in second, 2 3/4 lengths behind the winner. With Luis Ranilla aboard, Blumin Attitude scored his second stakes win of the year for trainer Dan Coughlin in a time of 1:39.60 for the mile over a fast track. He returned $8.60 as the second choice and teamed with Skwhirl for a 1-2 exacta worth $80. A crowd estimated at 9,000 was on hand and wagered a strong $206,940 on the five-race card as the weather continued to be mild with temperatures in the mid-70s, a rarity for this region in the summer.
