We get the NFC and AFC Championship Games back-to-back Sunday, and we have our eye on the ever-popular player touchdown prop bet markets. Following are my best-bet TD-scorer recommendations for Sunday’s Washington Commanders-Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills-Kansas City Chiefs games. Get in on the action by taking advantage of our top online sports betting offers, which are worth up to $6,550 in new customer welcome bonuses (see below).     First TD scorer: James Cook (+850 DraftKings) or Josh Allen (+650 BetMGM)   The Bills have scored a touchdown on a league-high nine of their 19 opening drives (47.8 percent) in games this season, including a pair of playoff victories. The opposing Chiefs, meanwhile, have surrendered a TD on six of their opponents’ 18 opening possessions this season, and that .333 percentage ranks as the fourth-most generous in the league. Breaking down Buffalo’s TD totals, running back James Cook (19) and quarterback Josh Allen (15) have combined to tally 34 (47.9 percent) of the team’s 71 total TDs, again including the postseason.  Playing those percentages, Cook and Allen are decent values to score the first AFC TD in K.C. Sunday night — even with less than 9-to-1 odds.  Bet on both and still turn a decent profit if either scores first. Anytime TD scorer: Zach Ertz (+290 FanDuel) or Travis Kelce (+125 DraftKings) We’re zeroing in on a pair of veteran tight ends here. Ertz is second on the Commanders in targets (100), receptions (66) and TD grabs (8) in 19 games this season, including the playoffs. During the regular season, Ertz ranked ninth in the league with 21 red zone targets, reeling in 13 of them for 92 yards and seven scores. Kelce, meanwhile, had one of the quietest regular seasons of his career at age 35, finishing with a career-low three TDs. But in last weekend’s 23-14 divisional round win over the Houston Texans, Old Man Kelce reverted right back into prime playoff form, bringing in seven of eight targets for 117 yards and a TD. Kelce now has 20 TDs in 23 career postseason games, finding the end zone at least once in nine of his last 11 playoff games. He’s scored 11 total TDs during that span. To score 2+ TDs: Saquon Barkley (+260 BetMGM) The Eagles’ Barkley is facing his favorite opponent Sunday in the Washington Commanders. In 11 career games against the D.C. franchise, Barkley has rushed for 1,090 yards and eight TDs and has added 422 additional yards and four scores as a pass-catcher. All four of the yardage and TD totals signify Barkley bests vs. any foe. In the two meetings against the Commanders this season Barkley rushed for 146 and 150 yards with a pair of TDs in each contest. In 19 games overall in 2024-25, Barkley has tallied multiple TDs in seven of them, including two in Philly’s 28-22 divisional round win over the Rams last Sunday. Meanwhile, only a handful of teams have surrendered more TDs to opposing running backs this season than Washington, which has permitted 20 in 19 games. Barkley, of course, has accountied for a fifth of that total So even with the lowest multiple-TD odds of the weekend, Barkley is still a solid value to find his way into the end zone at least twice Sunday in Philly.
