A benefit for seriously injured jockey Mike Straight will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, at a suburban Chicago restaurant. The benefit is open to the public, with tickets available for $50. The event will he held at Philly G's Restaurant in Vernon Hills from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and musical entertainment provided, with organizers hoping to raise further funds through raffles and a cash bar. Reservations may be made by e-mailing Straight, 23, is at a Chicago rehabilitation clinic, working to recover from severe injuries sustained in a spill on Aug. 25 at Arlington Park.
