General admission tickets, reserved seats and hospitality offerings for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival to be held June 6-9 at Saratoga will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 15, the New York Racing Association announced Thursday. There will be an advance/presale opportunity available for those who sign up at BelmontStakes.com/pre-sale. Tickets may be purchased  at BelmontStakes.com/tickets beginning Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. General admission prices for June 6 and 9 will be $10 -- the same price as walk-up general admission during the Saratoga meet, though $3 higher than the advance general admission purchase price during the regular meet. General admission will be $30 on June 7 and $50 on June 8, the latter being the day of the Belmont Stakes. Admission for children ages 4 to 12 will be $10 on June 7 and $20 on June 8. Children 12 and under will get in free on June 6 and 9. Capacity for each of the four days of racing held June 6-9 will be capped at 50,000 as is now typical on big-event days at NYRA. As is the case at the regular Saratoga meet, general admission tickets provides fans with access to the backyard, picnic tables, and apron. Reserved picnic tables will be available for purchase in the picnic paddock area. NYRA will institute a random drawing for fans interested in securing reserved picnic tables. NYRA will implement on-track policies typically associated with the event when it is held at Belmont Park. That means no alcoholic beverages will be permitted to be brought into Saratoga June 6-9. Coolers containing food and non-alcoholic beverages will be permitted. During the regular 40-day Saratoga meet, beginning July 11, NYRA will revert back to the standard policy of allowing alcoholic beverages in coolers. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
