He finished second in a seven-furlong handicap at Kembla Grange on Nov. 21, and sixth of 10 in a handicap at 7 3/4 furlongs at Canterbury Park on Dec. 11. In the latter race, Night of Power was beaten 3 1/4 lengths after stalking the pace for the first five furlongs. Night of Power is likely to have a stalking trip in Wednesday’s race, and could be positioned near Get the Idea, who has a similar style.
