ETOBICOKE, Ontario - The favored Attitude Included won her first stakes in her first try around two turns Wednesday night at Woodbine in the $125,000 South Ocean. Attitude Included set moderate fractions on a clear lead in the 1 1/16-mile race for Ontario-sired 2-year-old fillies. She opened up a 2 1/2-length gap at the eighth pole, and then held off a closing Shesadozer to prevail by 1 1/4 lengths in a time of 1:46.75. Peploe finished third. She was followed by Lady Boudreau and Someone to Love. Corey Fraser rode Attitude Included for trainer Mark Casse. "After her last race, Mark and I spoke, and he said that we'll go two turns next time out," said Fraser. "I thought she would handle it fine. I figured there would be a good chance that I'd be on the lead. She was traveling beautifully down the backside. When no one moved on me by the three-eighths pole, she was comfortable, and I thought I had it in the bag from there." Attitude Included ($5.20) earned $75,000 for Quintessential Racing.
