OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Live racing at Aqueduct was canceled for a second consecutive card Sunday due to continued cold conditions in the New York Metropolitan area.  Temperatures Sunday morning were in the low 20s with windchills around 11 degrees. Conditions were expected to improve throughout the day. Unlike Saturday's card, which was canceled on Friday,  the decision to cancel Sunday was announced around 10 a.m., roughly 2 1/2 hours before first post. "The decision to cancel was made in consultation with the jockeys and New York State Gaming Commission," NYRA spokesman Pat McKenna said. Unlike Saturday, when training was canceled, training was permitted Sunday at Belmont Park, where more than 30 horses put in timed workouts.  Trevor McCarthy worked one horse Sunday morning and said he thought there was a chance that racing could be canceled, though he said he didnt talk to anyone about canceling. :: Bet the races with a $200 First Deposit Match + FREE All Access PPs!
