Nitrogen went straight to the front and set honest fractions while And One More Time pressed her through the turn, as Vixen tracked them from a three-wide position. Nitrogen began to tire around the eighth pole, where Vixen appeared to be going best, but And One More Time dug in gamely between them to prevail by a head, in a time of 1:33.99 over the firm ground.
